UP AND DOWN FARISH STREET
1. A privilege we have enjoyed for more than four decades. However, as we are all aware, February is Black History Month, and during this month each year we strive to bring to the attention of our readers, young and old, a continuing story of seldom-acknowledged contributions of African Americans in the past and those new and noteworthy efforts that have come to our recent attention. With that in mind, we offer this week’s honorees. Some in categories never before acknowledged.
