UP AND DOWN FARISH STREET
A brilliant man who carved out a worthy history for African Americans. He was the man who once told me, “Jim, knowing you like I do, I know you’ll never be guilty of this, but I want you to remember this and pass it on to young Negroes who don’t have your vision and ability. Remember, a white man never forgets his friends, an Indian never forgets his enemies, but a Negro forgets them both, that is most Negroes!” Most of the black community has chosen to forget him, and the impact he made on the nation and in later life on Farish Streeters. We tell it like it is! Then we touch on a few other subjects and Move on Down the Line!
